New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) marked a law Monday that enables undocumented foreigners to get driver's licenses, a noteworthy success for progressives and worker rights advocates.

The state Senate endorsed the bill before in the day, 33-29.

The enactment, known as the Green Light Bill, extends access to driver's licenses to an expected 265,000 undocumented New Yorkers.
